Gallary Assistant (Antique Furniture & Arts)

Our client is one of the leading antique dealers world-wide in Chinese classic furniture and works of art.

Responsibilities:

  • Update auction and project calendars
  • Update database & inventories, price, labels
  • Help to file news, auctions materials, product info
  • Help to collect market data on sales, sold price and auction dates
  • Assist in shop daily tasks including answering phones, open doors, attend customers
  • Prepare and maintain shop cleanliness and environment
  • Help to organize physical and electronic data files
  • Assist in serving customers
  • Able to work independently on following up projects, contact suppliers, sales partner
  • Assist or manage workshop, roadshow, seminar and exhibition projects
  • Assist in other sales opportunities
  • Help to research item historical backgrounds, stories, references

Requirements:

  • Degree or Tertiary studies in Fine Arts / Cultural Studies or related discipline
  • Knowledge or undertake courses of Antique Anthentication is added advantage
  • 1 to 2 years experience in Gallary / Antique business
  • Able to work independent, mature and with good analytical skill
  • Strong passion in the Antique Business
  • Presentable with fluent in Cantonese, English and Putonghua
