General Manager / Country Manager, station at Bangladesh (Garment Buying Office)

Responsibilities:

  • Management of Bangladesh Liaison Office operation
  • Build up sourcing strategy according to the needs of Global Sourcing for all product types.
  • Motivate the merchandising team to achieve target margin set by head office.
  • Manage supplier’s portfolio, KPI evolution.
  • Build partnership with vendors to ensure stable business, capacity and quality.
  • Operate the office within budget.

Requirement

  • B.S. in Management & Industrial Engineering
  • 15 years in manufacturing & buying office
  • Strong Communication Skill and experience in cross cultural management.
  • Result driven, committed in quality and delivery.
  • Ability to think strategically and cope up with any changes in organization.
  • Open minded and ready to take any challenge.
  • Ability to motivate the team to achieve business goals.
  • Strong initiative and decision making.
  • Product oriented and product development skill.
  • Negotiation skill.
