HR & Admin Officer (Japan Cosmetics Co)


Human Resources:

  • Assist in handling recruitment process in retail business such as job-ad posting, arrangement of interviews, verification of candidate’s qualifications, etc.
  • Consolidate counters’ staff files and personal data;
  • Assistant to organize staff activities and build up a harmonic working atmosphere in office;
  • Assist in handling ad hoc projects as assigned


  • Oversee full spectrum of Office Administration functions;
  • Handle daily office administrative duties to ensure daily smooth running of the office, assist in handling stationary order and office maintenance / renovation;
  • Supervise a Receptionist to maintain office tidiness and efficiency on various areas like office management, office & pantry supplies, mailing, posting & courier, printing, security and cleaning, etc.
  • Select and co-ordinate with external agencies that the company may outsource to and liaise with regarding various transactions and company activities;
  • Handle all insurance Co-ordination and comparison;
  • Hotel & Events venue booking
  • Maintain proper and user-friendly database and filing system;
  • Work closely with all departments on administrative related issues;
  • Act as reception back up;
  • Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by HR & Manager


  • Tertiary educated with formal training in HRM is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ solid experience in HR and Admin functions
  • Well-versed with Hong Kong Employment Ordinance, MPF and related regulations
  • Experienced in expatriate administration
  • Good communication skills, open minded, proactive, and ability to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Service oriented, highly organized and able to handle multitasks with passion and patience
  • Strong PC skills, especially in MS Applications like Word and Excel
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin
