Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate meetings of ALCO including but not limited to material preparation/review and key secretarial support for ALCO committees;
- ALM material preparation/review including but not limited to some daily ALM report, monthly analysis, regular ALM breakdown/supporting material, ALCO deck for committee meeting;
- Prepare/review balance sheet and P&L forecast; discussion with relevant teams to obtain relevant input and share results with relevant teams/department on getting consensus regarding final results from ALM management perspective;
- Critical function in monitoring liquidity, interest rate, funding position of the bank
- Lead and provide coaching to relevant subordinates/teammates for ALM matters
- Support Head Office ad hoc request, ad hoc ALM analysis for internal or external regulatory purpose
- Participate in system enhancements or data extraction process on a needed basis
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business or relevant discipline
- Professional qualifications will be an added advantage (CPA, CFA, etc.)
- 3-6 years’ relevant experience in ALM and/or management reporting
- Hands-on experience in system implementation or testing (e.g. Core Banking System, ALM)
- Team player with leadership capability
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure with tight deadline
- Proficiency in MS Office and ALM applications
- Good command of Mandarin, Cantonese and English
