Manager / AVP – Training & Development (Retail Bank)

Our client is a well-established banking group in HK. She is now inviting calibre candidate to join her team with the requirements below:

Responsibilities:

  • Identify current and future training and development needs
  • Design training curriculums and deliver training programs on management skills, and sales & services in accordance with the Bank’s business and people strategies
  • Monitor and evaluate effectiveness of training programs
  • Develop learning roadmap to facilitate staff development
  • Develop learning programs/initiatives which align with the Bank’s competency framework in support of talent management and succession planning
  • Support ad hoc tasks or projects as required

Requirements:

  • Degree holder in Human Resources Management or related disciplines
  • At least 10 years of training experience, preferably in financial institutions
  • Knowledge of banking business and/or operations would be an advantage
  • Good understanding of training trends, developments and best practices in market
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering both classroom and virtual training
  • Basic knowledge of operating training video production equipment
  • Exposure to design training programs through e-learning platform
  • Passionate in talent development
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication, presentation and people skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and project management skills
