Our client is an international lifestyle brand with an authentic sports heritage. In order to cope with her expansion, she is now inviting calibre candidates to join her team.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Assistant Manager of Production to execute global production goals
- Work closely with Regional offices, Sourcing and Production team, Customer Service, QA and Logistics to deliver timely communication on order status
- Review and track pre production samples through collaboration with Sourcing and Product teams to ensure product is produced to desired specifications
- Review weekly Work in Process Reports (WIPs) from factories to ensure on time delivery and identify any potential production delays
- Work closely with QA team to resolve any product quality issues occurring during production
- Work closely with factories and Logistics team during pre-booking process to ensure proper lead time, ship method, and destination is achieved
- Work closely with global factories to confirm production capacity, order execution and resolve any production related issues,
- Identify and resolve potential manufacturing issues and ensure (ICD) In Consolidator Dates are attained by vendors
- Ensure production time and action calendars are followed and critical milestones are met
- Execute at least 98%, or better, on time delivery with quality shipments
- Ensure that all KPI targets for Global Production teams are achieved by regular monitoring of the progress reports and critical path management
- Purchase Order creation and maintenance
- Monitor and ensure system update by vendor is executed timely with accuracy
Requirements
- Knowledge of manufacturing Apparel & Headwear products, trade regulations, product integrity, production cycle timeline, and time and action calendar management
- Establish and maintain credible relationships with suppliers, customers with proven results in obtaining 98%, or better, on time delivery and quality shipments all via ocean
- Knowledge of basic production standard operating procedures
- Understanding of manufacturing and planning processes.
- Experience in China & Asian market is a plus
- Understand the important role that position brings to the bottom line through excellent order execution and service
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects
- Energetic, detail-mind, proactive and able to cope with dynamic environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- PLM systems, quality and supplier management
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications, web-based applications
