Stationed Shenzhen

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop a process to rapidly find, attract and on-board premier factories in China
• Onboard an additional high quality factory partners with geographic and product diversity
• Launch unique products that meet the company definition of quality, margins and ethic (with support for merchant team and Partner Excellence team)
• Co-develop a process to get new categories and products from Idea to On-site within the schedule

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferred
• Fluent communication in written and spoken English, a must
• 5+ years Sourcing / Merchandising of Furniture / Bedding / Décor Accessories experience
• Online and Retail experience is highly preferable
• Strong factory-direct network and relationships across consumer categories in China
• Product obsessed with experience in leveraging factories/vendor expertise to design, cost engineer, and bring products to market
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and analytical with focus on execution, problem-solving, improving processes and brand enhancement
• Continuous learner and highly curious; always open to considering new perspectives; proactive when changing course and facing added challenges
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
