System Analyst

A local sizable specialist property and facilities management company is looking for high calibre candidates to fill the above post.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in large scale development projects or shorter time-frame system enhancement projects
  • Prepare system requirement and design documents, such as system documentation, technical specifications, database design specifications and system manuals
  • Work with in-house developers and external IT vendors to carry out system development
  • Ensure delivery quality by performing unit test, performance test and system integration test
  • Carry out system deployment plan and ensure smooth system rollout, define contingency procedure
  • Provide expertise in system problem diagnosis and suggest appropriate remedies
  • Provide second level system support on more complex user enquiries and production problems
  • Perform regular maintenance, operational support & housekeeping on existing in-house web applications
  • Assist Senior IT staff on project management, team management and vendor management
  • Comply with Security policy, Audit requirements, Regulatory requirements, and relevant Company policies when carrying out all duties
  • Identify and mitigate risk detected in area of work and ensure compliance with policies and procedures. Report promptly on any risk incidents

Requirements:

  • Degree holder preferably in IT related discipline
  • 8 or more years in relevant IT experience and web application development
  • Solid experience in application development using Java and open system architecture
  • Knowledgeable in Java, J2EE, Linux, Spring, Struts, JSP, PL/SQL, HTML, Jasper Report, web services, JavaScript and JBoss/WildFly Application Server
  • Practical experience in PL/SQL in Oracle Database
  • Solid experience in systems design, development and testing methodologies
  • Able to work as a team or independently with minimal supervision
  • Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to communicate effectively with all levels
  • Basic knowledge in Accounting would be a definite advantage
