政府統計處昨公布最新失業率，今年4至6月為2.9%，微跌0.1個百分點，期內就業不足率同樣微跌0.1個百分點至1.1%，跌幅主要見於零售業和藝術、娛樂及康樂活動業，當中消費及旅遊相關行業合計失業率下跌0.2個百分點至4%。政府相信，隨本港經濟復甦進一步增強，勞工市場應進一步改善。
另《香港統計月刊》顯示，本港僱員的時薪中位數於2011至2022年間持續上升，期內整體僱員的時薪中位數由52.4元升至77.4元，增長47.6%，平均按年增3.6%，高於綜合消費物價指數平均按年增幅2.5%。
