Responsibilities

• In charge of the Management Accounting team of Hong Kong Branch under Finance Department.
• As the business finance partner. Work close with various businesses, information technology and asset & liabilities management departments.
• Manage the team and provide effective and timely management reporting covering all products & customers in the bank and deliver reports for various business units
• As the Business and strategic partners. Highlighting risk and opportunities, and make recommendations to senior management and business unit on performance improvement.
• Lead the team to review and maintain the monthly management reports including system and processes.
• Manage the team and provide month end reports on balance sheet, NII and NIM and perform variance analysis against budget and trends on monthly tracking.
• Lead the team and participate in the annual budget exercise and KPI setting. Continuous improve process, automation tasks and report enhancement
• Handle ad-hoc tasks with business partners and within finance

Requirements

• Leadership, teamwork, and the ability to operate under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to manage, lead and develop team members to work cross -departmental with other teams.
• University degree or above in finance / accounting or related discipline.
• CPA or CFA qualification is preferred.
• Over 10 years working experience with at least 5-8 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and management reporting in banking industry, preferably in Chinese banks or auditing experience with banking exposure in big 4, potential candidates with lesser experience would also be considered.
• Proactive and good teamwork with both finance and other departments
• Work independent and ability to deliver under pressure and tight timelines
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (preferably fluent in Mandarin)
• Strategic thinking
