本港上月進出口量按年跌幅擴大，統計處最新數字顯示，上月本港整體出口貨值為3,276億元，按年跌15.6%，較今年4月跌幅擴大2.6個百分點，連跌13個月；進口貨值則為3,540億元，按年跌16.7%，跌幅擴大4.8個百分點，連跌11個月，兩者均差過市場預期。總結本港今年首5個月出口按年跌16.3%，進口跌13.4%。
政府發言人稱輸往所有主要市場的出口均錄跌幅，料先進經濟體疲弱會持續對本港出口構成挑戰，但內地經濟增長加快料可抵銷部分負面影響。廠商會會長史立德估計本港廠商定單比疫前少3成，冀下半年好轉。
