Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
A first-line operations analyst covering the full trade lifecycle, cash and liquidity management, fund operations, investor servicing and risk support — within the Firm’s segregation-of-duties and four-eyes control framework:
- Execute trade capture, affirmation, confirmation and settlement across global futures, equities, fixed income and FX; ensure accurate, on-time booking in the PMS.
- Run daily cash, position and broker reconciliation; investigate and clear breaks; maintain the exception log; independently verify the administrator’s NAV.
- Process cash and securities transfers under the Firm’s authorisation and four-eyes controls; manage cash and liquidity across accounts and counterparties — forecasting flows, meeting margin and collateral calls, and optimising margin and collateral efficiency to maximise capital utilisation without ever compromising funding safety.
- Handle investor and SMA onboarding with Compliance (KYC/AML); manage subscriptions, redemptions, SMA funding, the investor register and DDQ responses; prepare Compliance-approved investor communications and newsletters.
- Support the risk function: produce and interpret daily exposure and limit-monitoring reports; investigate outliers, escalate breaches, and turn recurring findings into tighter controls.
- Automate repetitive reconciliation, reporting and data-validation workflows with Python/SQL and AI tools; codify operations into clear SOPs and maintainable scripts.
- Partner with the desk, risk, compliance and third-party service providers; master the full front-to-back flow and progressively take on greater ownership.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
- Language(s): English and Mandarin — professional working proficiency
- Mandatory: Solid fund operations experience across global markets, spanning futures, equities, fixed income and FX;Proficiency in Python and/or SQL and in AI productivity tools for data processing and process automation.
- Experience:5+ years in fund operations, trade support, prime brokerage or fund administration.
- Education: Master’s degree or above from a globally reputable university (QS Top 100 required).
- Major in finance, economics or accounting preferred.
- CPA / ACCA preferred.
