Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize products related to the destinations expansion workstream, specifically new destinations ex-Asia (Canada, US, Australia and the Middle East).
- Be the first point of contact for the Global Destinations product portfolio and respond to requests and enquiries from customers and colleagues about the products.
- Monitor the performance of the Global Destinations portfolio. Develop or integrate robust quality monitoring systems and reporting to track and evaluate service performance. Conduct regular review with partner- or lane managers to ensure product competitiveness and compliance with company standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Monitor the competitiveness of the portfolio vs solutions offered in the market. Identify, prepare and implement product improvements that will reduce transit time, improve costs, increase customer experience and/or optimize internal processes.
- Oversee the development and deployment of supply chain solutions to enhance operational efficiency, service excellence and/or customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with IT department to align system capabilities with business requirements.
- Develop, update and maintain product-, marketing- and sales materials in alignment with product portfolio and branding guidance to support the Sales and Business Development teams.
- Prepare alternative solutions or back-up scenarios in case of service disruptions with partners and align all key stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment between the solutions to the same destination/continent, and with partner management of partners that operate in multiple destinations.
- Work closely with the cross-functional teams including the development team, sales and business development, customer service, finance, legal and operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in across-border e-commerce logistics products/marketing environment.
- Strong product management and commercial skills.
- Good conceptual and analytical skills.
- Practical and problem-solving attitude; good interpersonal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Broader availability at the beginning and end of the working day, to align with colleagues/partners based at the global destinations, as needed (HK-time 7-8am, 7-8pm, not daily).
- Ability to work independently, hands-on and flexibly as part of a team.
- Proactive, open-minded and results-oriented mindset.
- Prior experience in working within multi-cultural, international teams is required.
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Mandarin.
