Oversees product safety, performance, and regulatory compliance across manufacturing and supply chains.
Key duties include managing supplier audits, resolving quality defects, and ensuring global standard compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supplier Quality Management: Conduct on-site factory evaluations, performance audits, and risk assessments for new and existing kitchenware suppliers.
- Compliance & Testing: Ensure products meet international safety regulations and testing protocols (e.g., food-contact materials, electrical safety for small domestic appliances).
- Defect & Complaint Analysis: Investigate consumer claims and production defects to perform root-cause analysis and execute corrective actions.
- Inspection & Quality Control: Define pre-production, inline, and final shipment inspection standards for internal teams and external service providers.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Knowledge in US / International safety standards for direct food contact products such as LFGB, FDA, Prop 65 Regulations.
- Experience: 3 to 6+ years in a quality management or assurance role within hardgoods or kitchenware/appliance manufacturing.
- Skills: Proficient in quality control tools (FMEA, Six Sigma, Lean, root-cause analysis) with strong regulatory knowledge.
