統計處公布，3月零售業總銷貨價值的臨時估計為336億元，按年升40.9%。扣除價格變動後，零售業總銷貨數量估計按年升39.4%。政府發言人稱，隨訪港旅遊業和私人消費復甦，料繼續惠及零售業，新一輪消費券亦提供額外支持。
另外，儲值支付工具之一的AlipayHK指，截至本月1日，近25萬用戶已用完首期消費券，又指AlipayHK及支付寶用戶齊齊帶動本地商戶交易金額較去年同期增近1倍，當中電子產品、珠寶、服飾及餐飲業最受惠。
