本地企業對前景展望樂觀。澳洲會計師公會針對亞太區11個市場共4,280間小型企業進行調查，結果發現在香港312間企業中，66%均預期今年業務有增長，創2011年以來新高；另74%企業預期海外銷售會有增長、89%料未來1年或推全新產品、58%計劃增聘人手。
該會指，過半數受訪企業指去年已有增長，數量回復至2018年水平，且政府積極開拓新興市場，如東盟、阿聯酋等，均帶來新商機。另消費券計劃也促進數碼轉型，84%企業指去年經八達通、支付寶和PayMe等，獲取逾1成銷售額；64%指對科技方面投資提高了盈利能力。
